Wilma L. Martin 81, Osprey, Fla., formerly of Kokomo, passed away at 5:50 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at Health South Rehab Hospital in Sarasota, Fla. Wilma was born June 17, 1931, in Rochester, to the late Duff and Mary E. Smith. She married Robert G. Martin in 1953. He preceded her in death in 2010. Wilma was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping and baking all kinds of desserts and cakes. In her younger years, she loved going to the cottage and using the paddle boat at the lake.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa S. Songer, husband Thomas Sr.; a son, Ron Martin, wife Karen; four grandchildren, Thomas Songer Jr., Bradley Martin, Brian Martin and Precious Martin; and one great-granddaughter on the way.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert G. Martin; two sons, Steven Scott Martin and Gary L. Martin; one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery.
