Gloria Mae Julius

March 30, 1934 - Dec. 7, 2012

Gloria Mae (Stiner) Julius 78, Kokomo, went to be with her Lord and Savior and in the arms of her daughter, Robin, at 1:36 am Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital. Gloria was born March 30, 1934, in Kokomo, to the late William “Carl” Stiner and Wilma B. Stiner (Dillman).

Gloria loved to read, and go to the casino. She also loved her two cats Holly and Tippie. She also loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy L. Julius and Patricia A. Julius; two brothers, Bill Stiner and Dan Stiner and wife Penny; three sisters, Pat Cassis and husband Ron, Susie McKinney and husband Larry, and Bonnie Stepler; one sister-in-law, Mary Stiner; 15 nieces and nephews, Ramon Cassis, Mitzi Rivers, Reed McKinney, Gina Corder, AJ McKinney, Marjorie Richey, Patrick Stiner, Scott Stiner, John Stepler II, Kelly Stepler, Rick Stiner, Bonnie Lynn Bradley, Larry Stiner, Shannon Stiner and Kimberly Moore.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Wilma Stiner; a daughter, Robin S. Julius; two brothers, Jim Stiner and William Carl Stiner Junior; a niece, Sandy Stiner; a great-nephew, Drew McKinney; and a close cousin, Wayne Stiner.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday also at the mortuary with Pastor Patrick Bousum officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown.
