— Douglas J. Pasquale, 58, passed away at 5:23 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo. Douglas was born Oct. 11, 1953, in Fall River, Mass., to Joseph and Olympia Pasquale. Douglas married Teresa Pier on Oct. 25, 2003, at Miami Fellowship of Praise Church, and she survives.
He was a member of the Indiana Heights Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. He also served in the Howard County Emergency Management Agency.
He was active in Boy Scouts as a Scout leader for more than 20 years. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, visiting Civil War historic attractions, collecting fire department memorabilia and playing with his grandchildren, whom he loved very much.
Along with his wife, he is survived by son, Brad Pasquale, his wife, Kelley, and their two children; daughter, Karen Bowman, her husband, John, and their son; daughter, Kristen Craig, her husband, Matt, and their daughter; son, Andrew Pasquale, his wife, Julie, and their three children; daughter, Heather Brennan, her husband, Matt, and their three children; daughter, Amber Record and her husband, Ryan; Darren Nelson; sister, Daphne Pasquale; nephew, Scott Pasquale; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Betty Pier; brother-in-law, Jeff Pier and his wife, Joanna, and their four children.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Grayson Pasquale, and granddaughter, Izabella Pasquale.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 136 S. Elm St., Bunker Hill. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the Boy Scouts or Miami Fellowship of Praise Church.
