Brandi Fye

Brandi Nicole Fye, 29, Russiaville, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, at her home. She was born Dec. 26, 1982, in Kokomo, the daughter of Brian Fye and Jeanette (Thompson) Cross.

Brandi was a 2001 graduate of Northwestern High School and received her associate degree in nursing from Ivy Tech in 2007. She was a charge nurse at North Woods Village and also worked as an LPN at the Miami Correctional Facility and Sterling House. She enjoyed playing ball with her kids. During high school, she played softball and was a cheerleader. She was a very loving mother and loved spending time with her children.

Brandi is survived by her children, Makayla Calloway, Cayden Calloway and Elijah Mau; mother and stepfather, Jeanette and Christopher Cross, Russiaville; brother, Brent (Ashley) Fye, Kokomo; sister, Danielle (Brad) Atwell, Yuma, Ariz.; boyfriend, Bobby Mau, Kokomo; grandparents, Marian Thompson, Dorothy Fye, both of Kokomo, and Clarence and Doris Cross, Russiaville; half-brothers, Kris Bates and Brad Bates; stepbrother, Brandon Hileman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Brian Fye, and grandfathers, Robert Thompson and Jacob Fye.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home and Crematory, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Rich Saxton officiating. Burial will follow in New London Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
