Corey Adam Clevenger

Kokomo — Corey Adam Clevenger, 30, Galveston, passed away at 10:25 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. Born Sept. 3, 1982, in Kokomo, he was the son of Kevin D. Clevenger and Linda (Palmer) Jackson, who both survive.

He worked at Kerasotes Theaters in Kokomo and was a spokesman. He graduated from Lewis Cass High School and attended Indiana University Kokomo.

He enjoyed reading, music, movies and loved his cat, Blackie, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan.

Survivors are his father, Kevin D. Clevenger, Galveston; sister, Brooke Clevenger and fiancé Mark Miller and son Tate, Galveston; mother, Linda Jackson, Kokomo; half-sister, Megan Jackson, Kokomo; half-brother, Nathan Perry, Lafayette; niece, Ameerah Chiamopoulos, Kokomo; paternal grandmother, Jo Anna Clevenger, Peru; maternal grandmother, Coleen and Everett Leach, Kokomo.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Von Clevenger.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Murray-Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston. Burial will be in Galveston Cemetery, Galveston. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
