Damond L. Harp
May 7, 1938 - March 9, 2010
Damond L. Harp, “Red,” 71, Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Fairmont Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born May 7, 1938, in Rockhold, Ky., to Clifford and Marie (McFarland) Harp.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was known to his CB buddies as “Cash.”
Survivors include three sons, Tim (Monica) Harp, Tony Harp and Shawn (Vanessa) Harp; two daughters, Tamra (Marcus) Hunter and Sabrina (Holly) Harp; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Harp; and three sisters, Mildred McClary, Geneva Jones and Betty Corbett.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Virginia Julian and Bonnie Harp.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. today at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service today at the funeral home.
