Connie B. Ennis, 84, passed away Dec. 11, 2012, at Seven Rivers Health and Rehabilitation in Crystal River, Fla. She was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Holland, to Lambert and Adela (Schmitz) Hendriks. She married Frank Shirlin Rose on Jan. 17, 1946, in Holland, and he preceded her in death. In 1954 she married Vincent DeFabritis, who preceded her in death in 1979. In 1982 she married Wayne R. Ennis, who passed away in October of 2012.
She is survived by sons, Rick Rose, Fort Wayne, and Toby (Sharon) Rose of Uniondale; grandchildren, Timothy Michael Rose, Travis Lee Rose, Heather Serlean Adele Rose (Fry), Trent Aron Wyatt, Sabrina Reney Rose and Michael Dean Rose; nine great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Michael (Joan) Ennis, Phillip (Michelle) Ennis, Jeffrey (Joy) Ennis, Linda White; and several stepgrandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Victory Baptist Church, 610 West Alto Road, with pastor Mike Ennis officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
