Kokomo — Charles Andrew Hosier, 85, Kokomo, went to be with the Lord, at 8;35 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at North Woods Village. He was born April 3, 1926, to Harry Wesley and Elsie Irene (Ronk) Hosier.

He is survived by three children, Vicki Wagoner, Charles A. (Karen) Hosier, and Rick Hosier; eight grandchildren, Kristi (Brian) Hogan, Kurt Wagoner, Missie (Rusty) Ritchie, Andy (Mandy) Hosier, Mandy (Drew) Behler, Jamie Cook, Dusty Hosier, and Justin Hosier; 10 great-grandchildren, Austin, Riley, Chandler, and Caleb Hogan, Reagan and Carlie Ritchie, Lauren and Charles Hosier, Taylor Mosier, and Kailen Cook; one brother, Ronnie Hosier; six sisters, Marg Timmons, Carolyn Kratzer, Jean Wilken, Jane Bailey, Linda Carden, and Connie Robey; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harry Hosier Jr., Paul “Tart” Hosier, and Donnie Hosier; and four sisters, Anna Warner, Juanita McHale, Barbara Gearheart, and Donna Baxter.

As per his wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Entombment will take place in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.

Helen Louise Brown, 85, Kokomo, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Edna and George Seitz, Walkerton. On Dec. 19, 1948, at Walkerton Methodist Church, she married Milton Brown, who survives. Helen and Milt were married for more than 63 years.

She was one of three daughters born to the late Evert and Edith (Finney) Knight. On July 4, 1939, she married Chester Ratcliff who preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1977.
