Thelma G. Beals

Kokomo — Thelma G. Beals, 89, of Santaquin, Utah, died in her sleep on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. She was born on Aug. 22, 1923, in Kokomo. She was married to Loren Marcuis Beals for 36 years. He preceded her in death in May 1987.  

Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Reuben Hedger, Lloyd Hedger and Elmer Hedger, and her sister, Carol Woodham.  

She worked for Accurate Parts in Kokomo for 19 years. Thelma moved to Utah after her retirement.

Thelma is survived by her son, Mark (Nancy) Beals; daughter, Kathryn (Gary) Gibson; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, who will all miss her laughter and love.

She loved to fish, sew, knit, crochet and was an accomplished cake decorator.  

Graveside services will be at noon Wednesday in Provo City Cemetery.
