Jean C. Noe, 87, Kokomo, passed away at 3 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Howard Regional Health System. She was born May 26, 1925 in Rogersville, Tenn. to John Manis and Verdie (Petty) Manis. In November 1948, , she married Warren G.H. Noe in Covington, Kent. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1978. After their marriage Jean and her husband moved to Batesville, where she worked for Hillenbrand making caskets and hospital beds. She also shared in the partnership of her husband’s janitorial service. She later retired from Delco Electronics in 1987. She was a graduate of Rogersville High School in Tennessee, and attended Harrell Business School in Rogersville, Tenn. She was a charter member of Indian Heights Baptist Church, and most recently attended Rock Prairie Baptist Church in Tipton. Jean was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include a son, Mark Noe and wife Renee, Carmel; daughter, Lisa Beane and husband Chris, Kokomo; six grandchildren, Ashley Noe, Brittany Noe, Mark Noe, Erin Beane, Laura Mae Beane, and Chris Beane; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
A service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with Rev. Ray Collins officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, two hours prior to the service, at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family from 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, 320 Grandview St., Church Hill, Tenn. Burial will immediately follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Church Hill.

Denver R. Walker, 61, Kokomo, formerly of Ridge Farm, Ill., passed away at 6:38 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Century Villa Health Care. He was born Nov. 1, 1951, in Danville, Ill., the son of Denver Ralph and Sarah (Walthall) Walker. On June 7, 1997, he married Cynthia L. “Cindy” Hultz from Veedersburg, and she survives him.

Fred was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Kokomo, to the late Emmett and Dorothy (Clark) Bagwell. He graduated from Kokomo High School.

Christine “Granny” “Mother Goose” Cornelia Ligon, 96, Kokomo, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. She was born Oct. 25, 1916, in Baron Plain, Tenn., the daughter of the late Tommy and Laura (Turner) King. On July 21, 1934, Christine married Timothy Calvin Ligon Jr. and they were happily married until his passing on Nov. 3, 1956.

Delores Mae Spicer, on May 16, 2013, at the age of 81, gently passed this life in her sleep and was reunited with her husband Jack Wayne Spicer Sr., her Heavenly Father, her Savior, and her beloved son Jerry Dana Spicer.
