Gary L. Gaylor

Sept. 2, 1945 - Dec. 7, 2012

Gary L. Gaylor, 67, Russiaville, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at his residence. He was born Sept. 2, 1945, in Fort Wayne, to Paul L. and Jo O. (Armstrong) Gaylor. In August 1965, he married Sherry K. (Beaman) Gaylor, and she survives.  

Gary graduated from Western High School in 1963. He also served in the United States Army reserves. He was a member of the UAW Local 685 and attended Radiant Life Ministries.         

Surviving is his wife, Sherry K. Gaylor, Russiaville; mother, Jo O. Gaylor, Kokomo; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Troy L. Gaylor, Texas, and Todd A. and Tia Gaylor, Kokomo; two grandchildren, Lex J. Gaylor and Kya R. Gaylor; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim F. and Linda Gaylor, Kokomo, Mark W. and Patty Gaylor, Camden, and Jeff L. and Tammy Gaylor, Burlington; sister, Pauletta J. Gaylor, Bloomington; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.       

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Gaylor.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with Pastor Steve Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Clinton County. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.  

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice.
