Eva M. Williams, 77, Kokomo, passed away at 6:05 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at Century Villa Healthcare, Greentown. Born May 27, 1934, in Union County, Tenn., she was the daughter of the Athes Cleo Hill and Mertie (Weaver) Hill. She attended Kokomo High School. In 1949, she married Lewis “Jack” Bogue. On Oct. 21, 1965, in Georgia, she married John Lee Williams. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2004.
She was employed with Delco Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of U.A.W. Local #292. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, arranging flowers and spending time with her family. She was also a great cook.
She is survived by one son, Michael Kent Bogue, Kokomo; two brothers, A.C. (Jan) Hill, Kokomo, and Arley (Susan) Hill, Sharpsville; two sisters, Mary Lou (Jay) Justice, Brooksville, Fla., and Ruth Ann (Dan) Miller, Sharpsville; and her first husband, Lewis “Jack” Bogue, Windfall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; second husband, John Lee Williams; and one brother, Eldon R. Hill.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo. The Rev. James Sharber will officiate. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
