Shelly R. Jaenicke, 46, passed away at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born Feb. 18, 1964, the daughter of David E. and Judith K. (Collins) Williams.
She had attended Kokomo High School and Ivy Tech Community College. Shelly was a homemaker with a passion for cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing in her younger years.
She is survived by her three children, Angel M. Cook, Adam R. Cook and wife Jennifer, and Elijah D.C. Cook, all of Kokomo; three grandchildren, Josh Fike Jr., Alexandria R. Hughes and Layne R. Hughes, all of Kokomo; two sisters, Laurie Coalburn, Arizona, and Patricia VanNatter, Kokomo; stepfather, Bob Hill, Arizona; stepmother, Neva Williams, Kokomo; grandmother, Maxine Rexstrew, Monticello; a nephew, Brandon Williams, Kokomo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant children, Aaron D. Cook and Mariah Jaenicke.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Monday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Greg Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday.
