Mary Lee Landgrave, 71, Crawfordsville, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, at her home. Born Nov. 27, 1941, in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Mary E. Counts and Floyd Smith, but was raised by David McClain as her father.
Her first marriage was to Donald E. McClure in Paris, Ill., her second to Dale Beard and her third to Harold “Whitey” Landgrave. They are all preceded her in death.
Growing up, she attended school in Pocahontas, Ill., and later at Crawfordsville High School. She was employed at R.R. Donnelley. She enjoyed quilting and cross-stitching. After living in Pocahontas and Crawfordsville, she lived in Sharpsville and Kokomo. She wintered in Mesa, Ariz.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen Joan Addler (Ron), Donna Sue Knight (Paul) and Shari Lynn Harrington; three stepchildren, Sandi Smith (John), Sherry Francey (Wayne) and Ed Landgrave (Cathy); sisters, Shirley May Cox and Betty Jane Chessir (Chico); stepsister-in-law, Harriet Moore; stepbrother-in-law, Cecil Landgrave (Joyce); friends, Gertie Cunningham, Joyce Hultz, Judy Morgan and Marilyn Minnick; Kokomo friends, Joyce Butler, Mary Klem, Doris, Sally, April and Bee; grandchildren, A.J. Hedge, Travis Harrington (Jami), Stephanie Hedge, Jarrod Harrington and Sharlotte Harrington; 11 additional grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two geat-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Burkhart Funeral Home in Crawfordsville, followed by burial in Ladoga Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Denver R. Walker
Denver R. Walker, 61, Kokomo, formerly of Ridge Farm, Ill., passed away at 6:38 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Century Villa Health Care. He was born Nov. 1, 1951, in Danville, Ill., the son of Denver Ralph and Sarah (Walthall) Walker. On June 7, 1997, he married Cynthia L. “Cindy” Hultz from Veedersburg, and she survives him.

George Frederick “Fred”Bagwell, 79, passed away at 11 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his family. He is now at rest with his Heavenly Father, whom he loved and served. Fred was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Kokomo, to the late Emmett and Dorothy (Clark) Bagwell. He graduated from Kokomo High School.

Christine “Granny” “Mother Goose” Cornelia Ligon, 96, Kokomo, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. She was born Oct. 25, 1916, in Baron Plain, Tenn., the daughter of the late Tommy and Laura (Turner) King. On July 21, 1934, Christine married Timothy Calvin Ligon Jr. and they were happily married until his passing on Nov. 3, 1956.

Delores Mae Spicer, on May 16, 2013, at the age of 81, gently passed this life in her sleep and was reunited with her husband Jack Wayne Spicer Sr., her Heavenly Father, her Savior, and her beloved son Jerry Dana Spicer. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend loved life and lived to serve others.

Russena Lucile (Maudlin) Comer, 64, Kokomo, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born Nov. 6, 1948, in Kokomo, the daughter of Russell F. and Gayle L. (Garrison) Maudlin. She married Kevin M. Comer Aug. 29, 1970, at Union Street Friends Church, and he survives.
