Andrew “Andy” Hensley, 20, Sharpsville, passed away on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at his home. He was born April 11, 1991, in Indianapolis, to Robert Hensley and Lori (Ellis) Jones.

He graduated from Tri-Central High School in 2009 and was attending Wabash College. He was captain of his high school football team, senior class president, a member of National Honor Society and graduated with academic honors. He enjoyed volunteering for a variety of events and attended Lebanon Christian Church.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lori and Derek Jones; his father and stepmother, Robert and Noreen Hensley; brother, Alex Hensley, Carmel; sister, Caitlyn Jones, Sharpsville; stepsister, Megan Byrne, Stanford, Calif.; grandparents, Larry and Hedy Hensley, Russiaville; and step-grandparents, Mike and Paula Mikels, Ohio, Ronnie and Jane Jones, Kokomo, and Geneva Davis, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Jean Ellis, and Joan Hensley.

The funeral service is 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, with Pastor Jason Sell officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visiting hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Helen Louise Brown, 85, Kokomo, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Edna and George Seitz, Walkerton. On Dec. 19, 1948, at Walkerton Methodist Church, she married Milton Brown, who survives. Helen and Milt were married for more than 63 years.
