Danny Lee Bowman, 64, Kokomo, passed away at 3:05 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, in Kindred Healthcare, Kokomo. Born June 27, 1948, in Denver, he was the son of Eugene Bowman and the late Betty (See) Bowman.
He was employed with Essex Wire in Marion and was a paper carrier for the Kokomo Tribune. He was an avid Colts, Pacers and Dale Earnhardt fan. He also loved fishing.
Survivors include his father, Eugene (Barb) Bowman, Logansport; three sons, Danny E. (Kelly) Bowman, Russiaville, David D. (Megan) Bowman, Kokomo, and Charles Smith, Marion; one daughter, Teresa K. (friend Lee Gullion) Graham, Kokomo; four brothers, Jimmy Bowman, Greentown, Richard Bowman and Donald Bowman, both of Kokomo, Mike Bowman of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Nancy (Kenny) Wells and Kimberly Haggard, both of Kokomo; five grandchildren, Raymond, Raylee, Matthew, Emily and Autumn.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Dennis Bowman.
There will be cremation with a graveside service at a later date in Crown Point Cemetery. Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
