— Daniel Lee Cage, 57, Kokomo, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at his home. He was born Dec. 1, 1954, to Don and Mary Cage. His marriage to Gerri E. (Steen) Cage, who survives, was on June 5, 1993.

Daniel graduated from Haworth High School in 1973 and served in the Marines until 1975. He was employed at Chrysler from where he retired in 1997. He was an avid pool player, enjoyed playing poker, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Megan Cage Eddington; stepchildren Billy Joe Bess, and Shannon McCoy and her husband, Travis; two brothers, Mark Cage and his wife, Rita, and Steven Cage and his wife, Cindy; his mother, Mary Cage; and seven grandchildren, Jordan Burnette, Colton Daniel Lee Burnette, Morgan and Mikhail Campbell, Montavius Eddington, Braydon Name, and Ivory Bess.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Cage; and his grandmother, Ruth Miller.

Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Evan Strong officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Online messages of condolence may be made at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.

Helen Louise Brown, 85, Kokomo, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Edna and George Seitz, Walkerton. On Dec. 19, 1948, at Walkerton Methodist Church, she married Milton Brown, who survives. Helen and Milt were married for more than 63 years.

She was one of three daughters born to the late Evert and Edith (Finney) Knight. On July 4, 1939, she married Chester Ratcliff who preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1977.
