Ella Louise Hager, 80, Peru, died at 7:10 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010, at her residence. She was born Jan. 4, 1930, in Peru, to Robert and Kathleen (Schroll) Azbell. On March 20, 1957, she married Blondell Hager, and he preceded her in death Sept. 23, 2010.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of North Grove Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by sons, James Hager (Jeannie Krile), Peru, and Clarence (Patti) Seifert Jr., Peru; daughters, Kathy (David) Kirk and Jeanie (Garry) Davenport, both of Peru, and Theresa (Rex) Betzner, Bunker Hill; 14 grandchildren, Ernest Taylor, Scott Taylor, Rick (Cassie) Taylor, Jamie (Jean) Hager, Damon (Shalana) Seifert, Mark (Sammatha) Seifert, Angela (Travis) Heishman, John (Tiffanee) Kirk, Joshua (Jessica) Kirk, Matthew (Nancy) Kirk, Gary (Emily) Davenport, Jenny Davenport, Rex (Cassie) Betzner Jr. and Blake (Haylee) Davenport; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Tammi) Schoolman, Peru; brother-in-law, Ken Roles, Peru; sister, Elizabeth (Craig) Bruce, Peru; and stepsister, Barbara Miller, Peru.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two sisters, Joan Mitchell and Paulette Roles.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at North Grove Church with Pastor Blaine Pond officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third St., Peru.
