Gary Dale Woodring

— Gary Dale Woodring passed away at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Caring Hands Nursing Home.

Gary was retired from Chrysler Corp. in Kokomo. He delivered FEMA trailers to the southern states after Hurricane Katrina and was a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hensley; sisters, Susan Beasley and Linda Dewitt; and brother, Jimmie Woodring.

Gary is survived by his sisters, Toni and Orvilla; his companion of 30 years, Freda Kellems; children, James, Peru, Jerry, Indianapolis, Gina, Peru, Kelly, Kokomo, and Billy, Kokomo; grandchildren, Kristopher, Isaiah, Mykai An, Jesse and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Maliah, Camille and Jasaiah; his favorite little buddy, his dog, Bounce; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, with a flag ceremony by the American Legion at 3 p.m.
