Beulah M. Shultz

July 3, 1910 - Feb. 21, 2012

— Beulah M. Shultz, 101, Kokomo, formerly of Russiaville, died 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at North Woods Village Health Care. She was born July 3, 1910, in Clinton County, to Warrie and Maude (Jordan) Shultz.

She was a 1930 graduate of Russiaville High School. She worked at Reliance for a short time and then retired as an inspector for Union Carbide after 32 years of service.

She was a member of Russiaville United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Russiaville Tourist Club, the Russiaville Historical Society, and the Dig and Hoe Garden Club.

She had been a Sunday school teacher and, as a girl, attended the Epworth Forest Camp.

As a tribute to her longevity, she was honored by being the one who lit the lights for We Care Park.

She is survived by several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Russiaville United Methodist Church, 180 N. Union St., Russiaville. The Rev. Steve Fritchman will officiate. Burial will follow in Russiaville Cemetery, Russiaville. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church.
