Emogene Davis

March 27, 1928 - Oct. 20, 2012

Port St. Lucie, Fla — Emogene Davis, 84, Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of Kokomo, passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012. She was born March 27, 1928, in New Madrid County, Mo., to William and Myrtle (Morefield) Hawkins. In September 1946, she married James E. Davis, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 2001.

She was a long-time volunteer of the Experimental Aircraft Association, along with her husband, who was a lifetime member.

She is survived by two sons, R. Nathan (Thresa) Davis and Kevin (Janene) Davis; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bonita Caetano.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
