Gerald S. Creason, 63, Anderson, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on Feb. 11, 1950, in Kokomo to Walter H. And Frances (Hunt) Creason.
Gerald was a 1968 Northwestern High School graduate and worked for Nestle Quick, Guide Lamp and H & H Steel. He enjoyed camping, riding four-wheelers and going to the beaches in Florida.
Survivors include his sister, Carolyn (Jack) Taylor, Kokomo; brother, Gary (Linda) Creason, Kokomo; nieces, Julie Miller, Christy (Jonathan) Hartman; nephews, Chard Creason, Jerry (Connie) Creason, John J. (Andrea) Taylor; his companion of 18 years, Barbara Phillips, who preceded him in 2012; and her children, who thought of him like a father, Karen (Paul) Miller, Sharon (Tom) Cady, Dante (Connie) Phillips, Allen Phillips, Mark (Rhonda) Phillips, Scott Phillips, Chris (Robyn) Phillips.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Dr. Art Jaggard officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral services at Russiaville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Stout & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral services.
