— Anita J. Johnson, 50, Flora, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at her home. She was born Oct. 10, 1961, in Kokomo, to Joseph and Ottie (Curtis) Dyer. In October 1979, she married Jack Johnson, and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1996.
She was the owner and operator of the Cutler General Store for six years. She liked to read, do puzzles, fish and spend time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her mother, Ottie Dyer; one daughter, Stephanie (Robert) Gibson, Cutler; one son, Sean (Jacqueline) Johnson, Frankfort; one granddaughter, Kyra Gibson, Cutler; one brother, Bob (Tammy) Dyer, Burlington; and two sisters, Sandy Dyer, Russiaville, and Nancy Dyer, Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Johnson; her father, Joseph Dyer; and one brother, John Dyer.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Stout and Son Funeral Home Neptune Chapel, 44 Michigan Road, Burlington, with Pastor Dr. Peter Roussakis officiating. Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery Burlington. Friends may call from noon until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
