Adam Ryan Wallace

May 7, 1983 - Jan. 27, 2013

Adam Ryan Wallace, 29, Monticello, passed away at his residence Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013. He was born in Kokomo on May 7, 1983, to Daniel H. and Stacy (Thieke) Wallace. On Feb. 13, 2004, he married Stephanie A. (Roberts) Wallace. They later divorced in 2012.

Adam attended Taylor High School. He enjoyed MMA Cage Fighting and participated in local competitions. He was a great artist and enjoyed tattooing and drawing. His greatest love was his children. He always looked forward to spending time with them. Adam will be greatly missed.  

Surviving are his parents; two children, McKahl Lee Wallace, Lafayette, January Nicole Wallace, Lafayette; grandmother, Linda “Gail” Thieke, Kokomo; brother, Sgt. Derrick Even Wallace, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas; uncles, Kevin (Heather) Thieke, Peru, Christopher Theike, Kokomo; aunt and uncle, Darla and Dave Arnett, Burlington; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Emery O. Wallace and Veola M. (Smith) Wallace, and maternal grandfather, Leonard “Ed” Thieke.  

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with Pastor Robert Land officiating. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions in Adam’s memory may be made to Mental Health America. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary. Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., is in charge of arrangements.
