Gordon B. Riley, 19, Young America, went home to be with the Lord at 5:19 p.m. Saturday, July 4, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. He was born March 24, 1990, in Kokomo to Brian and Shelly (Cox) Riley, both survive.
Gordon was a 2008 graduate of Lewis Cass High School and finished his first year at Purdue University.
He was very involved with Lewis Cass sports, especially football and wrestling. He was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and First Baptist Church in Galveston, where he was a member of the DV8 Student Ministry and Youth Group.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Garrett Riley, Young America; paternal grandparents Marlene and Gordon Riley, Kokomo; maternal grandfather Jerry Cox, Elwood; uncle Kevin Riley and wife, Suzanne, Kokomo; aunt, Shannon Dwiggins and husband, Mark, Galveston; cousins, Mandy Marshall, Heather Riley, Christopher Riley, Lizzie Riley, Kescia Riley and Kyle Dwiggins; and several great aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lexine Cox, and his great-grandparents.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, 207 S. Sycamore St., Galveston.
The Revs. Aaron Webb and Warren Purcell and Youth Minister Jeremy Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Galveston Cemetery, Galveston. Calling is 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Galveston.
Memorials may be made to DV8 Student Ministry at First Baptist Church in Galveston.
Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston assisted the family with arrangements.

William M. “Bill” Sutton Sr., 94, Tipton, died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor. He was born Nov. 26, 1917, in Matthews, to Omar and Tessie Mae (Cunningham) Sutton. On Jan. 12, 1944, he married Mae Ritenour and she survives.

David Jermaine Jackson, 38, Kokomo, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital. David was born Feb. 18, 1973, the son of Nathaniel Stiggers and Clemtine Jackson, in Lima, Ohio. He was employed as an assembler at Bona Vista. He was a member of Great Faith Ministries and loved the Lord. He was a longtime karate student, having achieved the status of green belt, and was an avid bowler. He loved basketball and was a longtime participant in Special Olympics. He also attended the social club sponsored by the Mental Health Association of Howard County.

On Dec. 13, 1986, in Burlington, she was married to the Rev. Ray Squibb, who survives.
