Justin E. “Gene” Williams, 61, of Kokomo, died at 4:57 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2009, at his residence.
Born Jan. 19, 1948, in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Justin Isaac Williams and Myrtle (Davis). On July 1, 1989, he married Bonnie Louise (Fisher), and she survives him.
He was employed at Cuneo Press for 20 years, then was owner and operator of Gene’s Roofing for 20 years before retiring in 2005. He enjoyed raising pigeons, riding his motorcycle and computers. He was a very giving man who contributed to We Care every year.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Louise Williams, Kokomo; three stepsons, Robert Name (fiancee Denise), Edward (Melissa) Name, and Jeremy (April) Name, all of Kokomo; two stepdaughters, Jackie (Chris) Kimmel, and Julia (Duwayne) Richardson, both of Kokomo; two brothers-in-law, James Smith, and John Collins, both of Kokomo; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one niece and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday in Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St. Pastor Paul Sutherland will officiate. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.

William M. “Bill” Sutton Sr., 94, Tipton, died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor. He was born Nov. 26, 1917, in Matthews, to Omar and Tessie Mae (Cunningham) Sutton. On Jan. 12, 1944, he married Mae Ritenour and she survives.

David Jackson
David Jermaine Jackson, 38, Kokomo, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital. David was born Feb. 18, 1973, the son of Nathaniel Stiggers and Clemtine Jackson, in Lima, Ohio. He was employed as an assembler at Bona Vista. He was a member of Great Faith Ministries and loved the Lord. He was a longtime karate student, having achieved the status of green belt, and was an avid bowler. He loved basketball and was a longtime participant in Special Olympics. He also attended the social club sponsored by the Mental Health Association of Howard County.

On Dec. 13, 1986, in Burlington, she was married to the Rev. Ray Squibb, who survives.
