William Howard Scott, 71, Kokomo, died at 6:35 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Fairmont Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Sept. 16, 1938, in Urbana, Ill., to William Hue and Martha Jane (Coleman) Scott Sr.
He was a machine operator at Colux, and had worked as a laborer on the loading dock for South Pacific Trucking. He also had worked at Conico Press. He was a member of the Sycamore Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include brothers, John David Scott of Cromwell, and Alan Scott of Merritt Island, Fla.; sisters, Judy Richard of Ocala, Fla., Marilyn Sue Bates of Novato, Calif., and Mary Lou Golding of Orlando, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Edward D. Scott.
The service will be at noon on Wednesday at Sycamore Reformed Presbyterian Church, 300 E. Mulberry St., Kokomo, with Pastor Barry York officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery in Attica. Friends may call one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church. Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
