He will leave behind his wife, Brenda L. Brenton, Peru, whom he always said was “his best friend,” and a family that will never be the same without him.

Also surviving are his parents, Gilbert and Betty Brenton, Kokomo; daughters and a son-in-law, Jennifer Brenton, Noblesville, Christina Bowers and husband, Kyle, Deer River, Minn.; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew G. Brenton Jr. and wife, Dawn, Noblesville; five grandchildren, Caleb, Korey Bowers, Alec, Aden and Ava Brenton; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Linda Brenton, Fort Wayne; sister and brother-in-law, Ruthanne and Jack Boothby, Kokomo; two nephews, Matthew and Nathan Boothby.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with evangelist David Eldridge officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Garden Mausoleum. Online condolences may be sent to the Brenton family at www.ellersmortuary.com. Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, assisted the family with arrangements.

He was a loving husband, son, father and papa and will be missed by all.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Rev. 21:4).
