Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Kathryn Ruby Stone, 78, Kokomo, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at her residence. She was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Ohio, to the late Lonnie Larry and Opal Frances Imes (Hutchison). On Sept. 25, 1950, she married George Allen Stone in Olney, Ill. He preceded her in death Oct. 24, 2009.
Survivors include sons, Timothy (Rena) Stone, Burlington, George Kevin Stone and Glenn Lee (Stacey) Stone, both of Kokomo; daughters, Sandra (Russell) Schutte, Mt. Olive, Ill., Sheila (Tom) Treece, Lafayette, Cindy Murphy (companion Luke Riley), Logansport; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister Delores Gibson, and two grandchildren, Christina Wolfe and Cadin Crumbley.
The family would like to thank Guardian Angel Hospice for the sincere care that was given to Kathryn at this time.
