John Gregory “Gabe” Gabriel, 52, Wabash died at 8:29 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at the Wabash County Hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1957, in Kokomo to John L. and Marion (Draper) Gabriel.
Gabe was a welder at Crop Master, Inc. in Wabash and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He grew up in Kokomo and attended Kokomo High School. He lived in Wabash since 1993.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Barbara Miller, Wabash; five children, Johnny C. Gabriel and Rachael D. Gabriel, both in Florida, Chad A. Miller, Aaron Gabriel, and Gregory “Andy” Gabriel, all of Wabash; three sisters, Monica (Walter) Folmer, Lake Worth, Fla., Melissa Gabriel, Lantana, Fla., and Stephanie Southwick, Greentown.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241
Manchester Ave. Wabash,
with Father Sextus Don officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
