Timothy “Tim” Hankins, 61, Kokomo, passed away at 4:21 p.m. Monday Feb. 26, 2013, at Community Howard Regional Hospital. He was born July 17, 1950, in Kokomo, to the late Glen and Helen Hankins. On Oct. 10, 2013, he married Jeammie Hankins, who survives.
Tim worked at Chaplin’s Auto Detail for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jeammie Hankins; children, Brett, Alisha, Abby and Audrie; two sisters, Judy Hankins Stouse, and Kay (Dick) Smuck; and a granddaughter, who was the love of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., with Pastor Greg Reed Officiating. Cremation will follow services. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
