Joseph V. Gordon, 38, Kokomo, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, in Lafayette. He was born Feb. 10, 1974, in Kokomo. He was raised by Johnnie and Virginia “Jenny” (Tucker) Hall. On June 21, 2002, in Kokomo, he married Deborah A. (Rubow), who survives.
He graduated from Victory Christian Academy in 1992. Joseph worked for Caterpillar in Lafayette for the last 13 years. He was an avid golfer.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah A. Gordon, Kokomo; his parents, Johnnie and Virginia “Jenny” Hall, Galveston; two daughters, Kylie and Heather Gordon, both of Kokomo; son, Eithan Gordon, Kokomo; a stepson, Timothy Dalton, Kokomo; two grandchildren, Braxtyn and Bentley Heredia, both of Kokomo; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Cheryl and Mark Pressey, Kokomo, and Patsy Gordon, Crawfordsville; and one brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Joyce Gordon, Young America; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Joseph will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with Pastor Chad Collins officiating. Friends may visit with the family from noon until time of service on Monday at the mortuary.
