Jerry James Jensen Sr., 74, Swayzee, died at 2:32 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at his residence. Born Nov. 23, 1937, in Brownington, Vt., he was the son of Harry C. and Florence (White) Jensen. He was married in Japan on May 21, 1959, to Kazue Jensen, who preceded him in death Jan. 16, 1994.
Jerry was chief maintenance analyst for the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service in 1976. He served in United States Air Force from 1956 until 1976.
Survivors are his children, Jerry and Paula Jensen, Janice and John Miley, and Mary and Victor Wallace; grandchildren, Jerry, Corey, Bethany, Orren, Matthew, Mary Beth, Terry Joseph, Jared and Jake; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Following Mr. Jensen’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Tennessee at a later date.
