Kokomo —
Earl M. Lytle, 87, Kokomo, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Waterford Place Health Campus. He was born on March 24, 1925, in Kokomo to the late Dewey and Edna (Butler) Lytle. On Dec. 6, 1946, Earl married his wife, Reba (Martin) Lytle, in Kokomo. They were married for more than 64 years until she passed away on March 12, 2010.
After high school, Earl served proudly in the United States Army during World War II. He received several ribbons and medals as well as the Purple Heart during his service. After the war, Earl, began working for Chrysler, where he worked for 30 years until retiring on Oct. 31, 1978. Earl spent 25 years in UAW Local 685, where he served as president and vice president, treasurer, and committeeman. He also served on the CAP council as committee chairman. Earl enjoyed fishing, wintering in Florida, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the VFW Post 1192, and the UAW Local 685.
Earl is survived by his three children, Michael (Diane) Lytle, Morgantown, Karen Howard, Flora, Beverly (Mark) Gross, Forest; one brother, Bill Lytle, Delaware; two sisters, Audrey Cook, Indianapolis, and Sharon Hilgemeier, South Dakota; seven grandchildren, Andrew Russell, Amanda Oyler, Chad Howard, Travis Lytle, Dakota Howard, Michael Lytle and Daphine Lytle; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; four brothers, Carl Lytle, Max Lytle, George Lytle and Harold Shaw; three sisters, Helen White, Bernice McBee and Donna Sneed; and one son-in-law, William Howard.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., with Pastor Kenneth Spangler officiating. Burial will follow with military honors provided by the United States Army, and the local V.F.W. Military Rites Team at Crown Point Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.

George Frederick “Fred” Bagwell
George Frederick “Fred”Bagwell, 79, passed away at 11 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his family. He is now at rest with his Heavenly Father, whom he loved and served. Fred was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Kokomo, to the late Emmett and Dorothy (Clark) Bagwell. He graduated from Kokomo High School.

Christine “Granny” “Mother Goose” Cornelia Ligon, 96, Kokomo, passed away at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. She was born Oct. 25, 1916, in Baron Plain, Tenn., the daughter of the late Tommy and Laura (Turner) King. On July 21, 1934, Christine married Timothy Calvin Ligon Jr. and they were happily married until his passing on Nov. 3, 1956.

Delores Mae Spicer, on May 16, 2013, at the age of 81, gently passed this life in her sleep and was reunited with her husband Jack Wayne Spicer Sr., her Heavenly Father, her Savior, and her beloved son Jerry Dana Spicer. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend loved life and lived to serve others.

Russena Lucile (Maudlin) Comer, 64, Kokomo, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born Nov. 6, 1948, in Kokomo, the daughter of Russell F. and Gayle L. (Garrison) Maudlin. She married Kevin M. Comer Aug. 29, 1970, at Union Street Friends Church, and he survives.
