Dennis Lee Cardwell

Dennis Lee Cardwell, 56, Kokomo, passed away at 4:53 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at his residence. Born Oct. 30, 1956, in Kokomo, he was the son of Robert W. Cardwell Sr. and Norma (Bugher) Radiene.

He worked for different construction companies as a roofer, and served in the Army from 1976 to 1978. He was a member of the Roofers Association.

Survivors include his sister, Terri Lynn Bolander; brothers, Robert (Cynthia S.) Cardwell Jr. and Michael A. Cardwell; daughter, Lacy Teller; son, Levi Cardwell; and 11 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherri Altman.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home Crematory, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., with Pastor Bill Arbuckle officiating.

Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home.
