Colleen Sue Lee, 71, Amboy, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born March 11, 1941 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Eugene and Olive Matthews Murray. Colleen married Donald Mark Lee on April 3, 1959, and he preceded her in death Jan. 10, 2011.
Colleen was a homemaker and a former Avon representative. She and her husband Don were active in the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization and the Heart and Lung Transplant Support Group at Methodist Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Fowler, California, Rebecca Stevens and her husband, Jim, Oklahoma, and Teresa Hershberger and her husband, Rich, Peru; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A service celebrating the life of Colleen Sue Lee will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Amboy, with Pastor Dwight Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
