Elza L. Inman, 81, Russiaville, died at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at St. Vincent’s Heart Center of Indiana. He was born March 20, 1931, in Greene County, to Edward and Ethel (Simpson) Inman. He was married Dec. 27, 1951, to Judith N. Browning, who survives.
He retired in 1986 after 35 years as a computer programmer at Haynes-Stellite International in Kokomo. He graduated from Kokomo High School. He served in the Army during Korea conflict and later in the Reserves.
He was a member of the Quarter Century Club, Michigan Snowmobile Club, where he served as treasurer for 14 years, and Benzie-Manistee Snowmoblie Association. He enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, fishing, and mushroom hunting.
Survivors are his wife, Judith Inman, Russiaville; sons, Randy (Mary) Inman, Frankfort, and Michael (Tonya) Inman, Frankfort; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gary Inman; one brother, James Inman; three sisters, Anna Mae Miller, Phyllis McQuinn and Frances Kendall; and one grandson.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville Chapel, 200 E. Main St., with Steve Cole officiating. Burial will be in Bacon Cemetery, Clinton County. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville.
