Tereisa ‘Tina’ Smith

Aug. 10, 1954 - March 12, 2013

Tereisa “Tina” Smith, 58, Kokomo, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born Aug. 10, 1954, in Tipton County to Earl Richard Shock and Joan (Sharp). On March 3, 1995, Tina married Charles “Roger” Smith in Kokomo after a 10-year engagement.

Tina was a sponsor for Angels for Kids and loved gardening, flowers and time with her grandkids. She devoted her life to being a wonderful wife and mother.

Survivors include husband, Charles “Roger” Smith; daughters, Angela (David) Morris, Kokomo, Lori (James) Jackson, Kokomo, and Amanda (Randy) Burkett, Kokomo; sons, Chuck (Angie) Smith, Nathan (Susie) Smith, Josh Smith and Chance Smith, all of Kokomo; sister, Pam (Ron) Yeary, Michigantown; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Michael Frawley; and one grandchild, Nathan Smith.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor John Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in Normanda Cemetery.
