Laura Jane Smith Noggle

May 31, 1961 - March 10, 2013

Laura Jane Smith Noggle, 51, Kokomo, died suddenly Sunday, March 10, 2013, at her residence. A lifelong resident, she was born May 31, 1961, to Paul and Jane Hicks.

After graduating from Western High School, Laura began working at Doc’s Restaurant at the age of 17. She served there for over 20 years until its closing. Laura had coworkers and friends there who worked alongside her for many years that she loved dearly. Recently, she had been working at Ned’s Corner Pub as a waitress.

She will be missed deeply by all who came to know and love her. 

Laura is survived by her husband, James G. Noggle; daughter, Amanda Miller; mother, Jane; brothers, Steve and Bob Hicks; several nieces and nephews; many close friends; and hundreds of customers she loved through the years.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
