Mondellia Yvette Rickey, 66, Kokomo, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010, at her residence. She was born April 27, 1944, in Kokomo, to Roque and Glendale (Seals) Flick.
She was a homemaker and formerly a hairdresser.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John Rickey, who is retired from the U.S. Air Force; a son, Lt. Col. Jon Rickey, stationed at Fort Belvoir, Va.; a daughter-in-law, Jamie Rickey; a grandson, Jack Rickey; a sister, Tammy (Flick) Chester, Kokomo; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michaelia “Mike” Flick; and two sisters, Sheilia Flick and Cynthia Oaks.
The funeral service is 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
