Betty B. Malott, 90, Marion, went home to be with the Lord at 8:41 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, in Century Villa Health Care, Greentown.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1922, in Grant County, the daughter of the late Chester and Nora (Farley) Stafford. She married Ralph Harold Malott on March 18, 1939, who preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 2008.
She was a homemaker and a wonderful Christian wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Julia) Malott, Marion, Rex (Judy) Malott, Greentown, and Bruce Malott, Gas City; four daughters, Marjean (Kenneth) McBride, Terre Haute, Carole (Richard) Pogue, Marion, Renita Riggs, Marion, and Nila Young, Marion; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, with the Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
