Bryan Ted Harris, 73, Kokomo, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at his home. He was born on June 25, 1936, in Fairbanks, to William Jennings Bryan Harris and Mary Ruth (Parks) Harris. On Feb. 14, 1964, he married Sally Ann Shrock and she preceded him in death on June 28, 1976.
Bryan worked at the Howard County Co-Op in Russiaville and retired in 1983. He attended Fairview Baptist Church in Kokomo.
He is survived by two sons, Bryan Ted Harris Jr. and Scott Edmund Harris, both of Kokomo; one brother, Dale Harris, Sullivan; two sisters, Christine LuBrano, Knoxville, Tenn., and Betty Welch, of Illinois; and two grandchildren, Bryan Joseph Harris and Sally JoAnn Harris.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Mac and Arthur Harris.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fairview Baptist Church in Kokomo with the Rev. Steve Sherwood officiating. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church.
