Hanley E. Richardson

Dec. 16, 1947 - Nov. 26, 2012

Kokomo — Hanley E. Richardson, 64, Greentown, passed away at 8:44 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1947, in Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Albert and Naomie Richardson. On Sept. 19, 1970, he married Kay Adams in Greentown.

Hanley attended high school and college in New Brunswick and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1970.

He worked at Continental Steel in Kokomo and RCA in Marion. He was also a member of Macedonia Christian Church for 30 years, where he taught the Fellowship Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Richardson; a daughter, Jill (Bill) Wilson, Kokomo; a son, Kevin (Patti) Richardson, Schererville; grandchildren, Clay, Janna and Molly Wilson, Kokomo, and Evangeline Richardson, Schererville; a sister, Audrey (Sheldon) Wilcox, Pennfield, New Brunswick; brothers, Clinton (Joan) Richardson, St. Stephen, New Brunswick, and Austin (Mary) Richardson, Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick; a sister-in-law, Joann Off, Kokomo; and many nieces, nephews and extended family that he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St., Greentown, with Mike Greenwood and John Piotrowicz officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left online at haslerstout.com.
