Amaya Brynn “Sissy Poo” Gamblin, 4, Kokomo, died at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, in the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born April 12, 2008, in Kokomo. She was the beloved daughter of Jared and Amanda (Hansen) Gamblin.
Amaya enjoyed dancing, watching Nightmare Before Christmas, any food, snuggling and sucking her thumb.
She is survived by her parents, Amanda and Jared Gamblin; two brothers, Dante Karczewski and Dagon Gamblin; grandparents, Larry and Liz Hansen, and Bret and Sue Lavengood; grandma, Jackie Crittendon; and many aunts, uncles and other family also survive Amaya.
Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church, 5051 E. 400 North, with Pastor Kevin Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Kokomo Zion Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from noon until service time at the church.
