Dennis M. Popp, 68, Kokomo, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at his residence. He was born Dec. 29, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wis., to the late Herman and Evelyn Popp.
He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1962 as valedictorian. He attended Marquette University for 3 ½ years.
He is survived by two brothers, Terry Popp and Rick Cardwell; two sisters, Bonnie Popp and Kathy Mullen; six children, Evelyn Popp, Dennis Popp (Diana), Peter Popp (Kelli), Sue Ann Pyke (Jeff), Jason Popp (Christy) and Michelle White (Gary); his children’s mother, Betsie Mendoza; 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at Kokomo Independent Baptist Church, 600 S. Dixon Road. Ellers Mortuary assisted family with arrangements.
