Evelyn E. Warwick, 83, Peru, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born April 14, 1929, in Hemlock, to Wyman W. and Loretta M. (Carter) Webber. She married her true love, Paul Warwick Jr., Jan. 7, 1949, at the home of her parents.
Evelyn also lived in South Bend. Evelyn was a substitute teacher at the old Miami School, Miami. She also worked at the Grissom Flight Line. She was co-owner and bookkeeper for Warwick Carpet Service for 40 years with her husband.
She loved being a den mother in Elkhart and Miami for some wonderful boys.
She is survived by her children, Dale E. Warwick and wife Brenda, Marysville, Tenn., Paul W. Warwick and wife Nicole, Peru, Pam Maish and husband Jeff, Bunker Hill, and Brian Allen, Flora; grandchildren, Anita Warwick and Gina Graska, Heather and Andy Brannon, Nicholas and Amber Allen, Emily Allen and Abigail Warwick. She also is survived by four great-grandchildren; two wonderful brothers, Charles and Joan Webber, South Bend, and Jim and Janice Webber, Granger; and several beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; a daughter, Sue E. Allen; and four brothers, Edward, William, Harold and Archie.
Her family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Allen Funeral Home, Bunker Hill.
