Kokomo —
Julia C. “Judy” Storms, 87, Huber Heights, Ohio, formerly of Kokomo, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Day View Care Center.
Judy was a member of Huber Heights First Christian Church and a longtime member of Kokomo Church of Christ/Judson Road Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Ray, in 2005; daughter, Marilyn Woodward in 1976; and daughter-in-law, Ruth Storms in 2010.
Judy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Larry Kensinger, Pennsylvania; son, James Storms, Ohio; grandchildren, Vicki, Mike, Steve, Tracy (Latricia), and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Cory, Spencer and Cameron; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Marker & Heller Funeral Home, 5844 Old Troy Pike, Huber Heights, Ohio, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Judson Road Christian Church, 2006 W. Judson Road, Kokomo, with Dr. Gary Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Judson Road Christian Church Reaching for the Heights Fund.
