Deborah S. Anderson

Kokomo — Deborah S. Anderson, 56, died at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1956, in Kokomo to Edward and Marie (Herin) Maudlin. On June 25, 1977, she married Steven Anderson at Courtland Avenue Friends Church and he survives her.

Deborah was a 1975 graduate of Haworth High School. She attended Grace Community Foursquare Church and City Light Church, volunteered at the Pregnancy Resource Center. She enjoyed reading and chocolate Cokes at Jamie’s Soda Fountain.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son and two daughters, Chad P. (Darcy) Anderson, Merrillville, Tiffany L. Anderson, Kokomo, and Ashley (Christopher) Miller, Kokomo; grandchildren, Abigayle Anderson, Aliyah Anderson, Courtney Hagy, Gabriel Hagy, and Paiton Hagy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.  

Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with the Rev. Reid Crow officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Private burial will take place in Crown Point cemetery at a later date.
