Mary Ruth Moser, 91, Kokomo, passed away at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at her daughter’s residence in Coatesville. Born Jan. 13, 1923, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Louis F. Wagner and Mary G. (Adame) Wagner. On May 20, 1967, in Kokomo, she married Fred Moser. He preceded her in death in 2000.
She was employed with Delco Electronics before retiring. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She enjoyed old Westerns, fishing, crocheting, embroidering, word searches, and was an avid Pacers fan.
Survivors include her children, who were privileged to call her mom. They include one son, Joseph L. (Melba) Moser, Kokomo; two daughters, Helen J. Moore, Coatesville, and Ruth (Robert A.) Marcus Sr., Russiaville; two brothers, William (Elaine) Wagner, Kokomo, and Paul (Ann) Wagner, Seattle, Wash.; also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, William J. Brown; one brother, Louis Wagner; and two sisters, Rosemary Wagner and Deloris Wagner.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1229 N. Washington St., Kokomo. Father Joshua Bennett will celebrate. Burial will follow in Kokomo Memorial Park. The family will receive friends a half-hour prior to Mass on Friday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the church or to Alzheimer’s Association, with envelopes available at the church.
