— Howard County

Arrests

Tuesday, 3:25 p.m., deputies arrested Tina E. Hobbs, 42, Russiaville, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for theft.

Tuesday, 3:49 p.m., police arrested Guadalupe McGuire, 32, 700 block of West Jefferson Street, at Firmin and Webster streets, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, habitual traffic violator and a warrant for petition to revoke. Police also arrested Ryan M. Durr, 26, 500 block of Briar Court, on charges of possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

Tuesday, 4:17 p.m., deputies arrested Jason M. Murray, 32, Indianapolis, at 500 South and U.S. 31, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence. Police also arrested Joseph L. Grove, 30, 2700 block of North Washington Street, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Tuesday, 6:13 p.m., police arrested James A. Pressey, 36, 1100 block of North McCann Street, in the 2500 block of North Main Street, on a charge of public intoxication.

Tuesday, 8:13 p.m., police arrested Bobby A. Jones, 40, 700 block of North Indiana Street, at that residence, on warrants for two counts of failure to appear for fees hearings.

Tuesday, 10:50 p.m., police arrested Anthony A. Beach, 44, 2900 block of Sheila Drive, in the 1100 block of South Home Avenue, on a charge of public intoxication.

Wednesday, 2:16 a.m., police arrested Raymond Dent, 60, 1900 block of Lynwood Drive, at Havens and Phillips streets, on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Wednesday, 4:30 p.m., police arrested Angel R. Harner, 26, Kokomo, on a charge of operating a vehicle while

intoxicated.

Thefts

Monday, 10:16 a.m., the theft of miscellaneous old coins, a compressor hose and books was reported from the 600 block of St. Joseph Drive.

Tuesday, 2:33 p.m., the theft of a Husky medal cordless shear valued at $4,000 was reported from the 1800 block of South Plate Street.

Tipton County

Arrests

Saturday, at 1:56 p.m., police arrested Ronald Lee Stipes, 50, 4900 block of Arrowhead Boulevard, Kokomo, on a failure to pay charge.

Sunday, at 12:43 a.m., police arrested Demetrius Jerome Williams, 28, 3900 block of Yorkland Drive, Comstock Park, Mich., on charges of identity deception and false informing.

Tuesday, 2:43 a.m., police arrested Dawn M. Barnett, 34, 300 block of Sweetland Avenue, on charges of theft and burglary.

Tuesday, 4:20 a.m., police arrested Christopher Barnett, 37, 300 block of Sweetland Avenue, on charges of theft, burglary and trespass.

Wednesday, 2:01 a.m., deputies arrested Austin David-Edwin Lockman, 19, South Bend, on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Wednesday, 6:46 a.m., police arrested Jesus Herrera, 42, 400 block of North West Street, on a charge of public intoxication.

Miami County

Saturday, 12:20 a.m., state police arrested James W. Waller, 50, Gas City, on charge of public intoxication and trespassing.

Saturday, 9:45 p.m., deputies arrested Jamie L. Rupp, 22, 9200 north block

of Old U.S. 31, Macy, on a felony charge of strangulation and a charge of domestic

battery.

    Tuesday, 5:04 p.m., police arrested James R. Cox, 63, 900 block of South Market Street, at that residence, on charges of possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. Police also arrested Rick S. Hancher, 49, 600 block of Marsha Court; Amanda G. Jones, 31, 7000 east block of 50 North; and T.E. Oday, 33, 700 block of North Webster Street. They each face charges of possession of meth and visiting a common nuisance.
